Labor (or Labour, if you prefer) day 2011: a cold, slightly rainy, very fall-ish last day of 'summer' in the mitten. This date is also significant because it is the first time that this guy went to see our President speak in-person. I know, I know...what the heck took so long, right? Well, it was WAY cool. Because I'm at least somewhat honest (joking, joking), I won't say that he nailed it out of the park. It didn't 'WOW' me like the
pictures that I saw of BO walking to podiums during the campaign of 2008, but I will say that he made some good points on the contributions that labor unions have made to the US economy over the past hundred or so years. He definitely made me think, which is why I feel comfortable saying that it was 'way' cool. Plus,
the Beast was awesome!
